According to the Romanians New Media Adoption study, carried out by the Data Intelligence team of the Spark Foundry media agency, a member of Publicis Groupe Romania, the leading digital activities of Romanians continue to include online payments and shopping, accessing social media platforms and interacting with friends and the family.
Leo Burnett Bucharest and the DATA Intelligence division of Publicis Groupe Romania have created the TikTok Index, the first tool developed specifically for this platform, to measure the performance of brands' content and identify what brings the most significant added value in each industry monitored.
2022 was a year with a tumultuous beginning, during which economic and social uncertainties deepened as a delayed effect of the pandemic crisis. So, still, also, of the war that broke out in Ukraine on February 24, the day Romanians celebrate love.
The negative trend in terms of digital activities continues in this wave, affecting all online activities except watching movies/series and podcasts, which remain at the same level reported in the previous edition of the survey. This is most likely due to the fact that the public has started to spend more time outside home due to the relaxation of anti-covid measures.
